Tomlinson Hall Ltd was established in 1919 as a general engineering company and has now grown into a specialist manufacturer and distributor for pumps, power transmission equipment and engineering supplies. The company manufacture their own range of Liquivac pumps in addition to acting as UK distributors for a variety of both UK and overseas manufacturers, including Grundfos, Crane, Richter, Alfa Laval and Flowserve. Creating a high profile within their market sectors was seen as crucial to both marketing their clients' products and attracting new distribution opportunities.
The Colour Mix:
Commencing with a brief to promote the DEPA range of AODD (Air Operated Double Diaphragm) pumps within the UK, the agency's design team created an innovative campaign that differentiated the pumps form all competition and was matched by a pro-active PR campaign based on the agency's engineering experience to promote both Tomlinson Hall's service expertise and the individual pumps' qualities. Tomlinson Hall entered the prestigious PIA (Pump Industry Awards) in 2008.
The company have been the PIA Pump Distributor of the Year finalists every year since 2008, winning the prestigious title for three consecutive year - the only UK distributor to have achieved this. They go from strength to strength, distributing OEM products on a global scale and achieving increasing market share with their own Liquivac product.
