We Believe in Hopes & Dreams

As more and more schools are applying for academy status, student recruitment is becoming increasingly competitive, as our latest client, St Cuthbert's Catholic High School knows all too well. Boasting a number of outstanding qualities, attractive to both students and parents alike, St Cuthbert's came to Silver Bullet for advice on how to successfully promote the school and increase the number of students who enroll there each year.

We have learned that an education from St Cuthbert's provides more than just outstanding academic prowess, since 1881 the school has been committed to encouraging the development of its pupils' personal skills too.

With alumni including TV host Declan Donnelly and Sting amongst a handful of professional sports stars, it's clear to see that the school’s investment in the future of it's students goes a long way.

The school achieves this educational balance by providing students with a mix of real-world science and technological industry partnerships to work with and an impressive arts department, all backed up by a dedicated staff. This means pupils can enjoy a solid support system as they progress towards whatever future they choose.

Our challenge was to further enhance the brand that St Cuthbert's has built based on these factors, as well as promote the school and it's qualities across the wider community.

Silver Bullet's Creative Director, Gemma Waller commented, "St Cuthbert's came to us, looking to refresh their brand and make it more contemporary in the hopes of attracting new pupils to the school."

"We developed a concept called 'We believe' which subtly incorporates St Cuthbert's core identity as a catholic school, with a host of additional 'beliefs' in the school's arts and science programmes as well as their impressive links with business and industry."

"We reflected this concept in the brand, which whilst already strong, was starting to look a bit dated. We've brightened up the colours and removed some of the more ornate details in design to make the school's new visual materials striking and easily recognizable whilst retaining the traditional feel of a well respected school."

Managing Director at Silver Bullet, John Dias added, "We're starting work on a host of marketing materials for the school including a new website, as well as a selection of adverts and newsletters."

"We've a wealth of experience in the education sector to share with St Cuthbert's having worked with schools and colleges across the region for a number of years. St Cuthbert's is a wonderful school and we're looking forward to telling the region all about the fantastic work they do and seeing its enrolment levels soar!"
