New Website Boost for Stanegate Stoves

Probably one of the best things about this job is the ability to produce real benefits for our clients and the satisfaction that that gives any marketer. When a client has a challenge which you’re able to address and produce really positive changes to their business and demonstrate a cost-effective return on investment, it makes up for all the time wasters and other not so pleasant parts of the business.

So when we were approached by Robin Mellor of Stanegate Stoves in May to talk about their brand and future marketing, it was a real delight to be able to work with their team to firstly agree on a brief and then deliver the strategy and creative work that would answer it.

Stanegate Stoves have been supplying and installing wood-burning, gas and multi-fuel stoves to both homes and commercial properties since 2001. Operating from a 4,000sq ft showroom in one of the region’s iconic buildings, the famous Glassworks Cone in Lemington, the company is one of the leading specialists on stoves in the North East region.

Stanegate have over 100 stoves in their showroom, many of which are ‘live’ and working (nice and snug in the Winter!). Most well known, reputable stove manufacturers are represented and the product range (traditional and contemporary), much of which is not available elsewhere in the North East, appeals to both city and country dwellers. The company offers a very personal service with advice, supply and installation of stoves that perfectly meets their customers’ requirements in terms of technical specification, budget and design to match their lifestyle and surpass their expectations.

We identified the three qualities of Pride, Passion and Expertise in everything they did and played on the fact they had been operating since 2001 as a family firm. We then introduced the iconic Glassworks Cone into their new branding and identified the priorities for their marketing. Of all the items on the wish list, a new web site took priority which has now gone live and is already not only attracting highly favourable feedback but also bringing in new business within two days of going live. The site has been built with a full Content Management System (CMS) allowing Stanegate Stoves to populate and update it themselves.
