Silver Bullet Announces Fourth Year with Children's Charity
Silver Bullet Marketing has announced its fourth year with pro-bono client, the Gregg's Children's Cancer Run.
Full service advertising agency, Silver Bullet Marketing, has confirmed its partnership with the Gregg's Children's Cancer Run. The run raises money for the North East Children's Cancer Research (NECCR) charity, which directly benefits the Northern Institute for Cancer Research at the RVI and their world-renowned research into childhood cancers.
The Gregg's Children's Cancer Run is attended by thousands of children, parents, schools and businesses across the region who take part in the five-mile annual fun run at Gosforth Park. The run has raised over £5 million since it started in 1983.
The team at Silver Bullet is currently gearing up for another successful year, as they prepare the marketing and publicity for the 28th run, which is taking place on the 9th of May. The campaign will consist of social marketing, online activity and regional and national PR, which has previously included endorsements from ITV, the Chronicle and Metro Radio.
Run organiser, Tony Gilroy, commented, "Every year Silver Bullet pulls out all the stops to ensure the run receives the maximum amount of exposure and therefore attracts as many runners as possible. We are grateful for their help and look forward to another great year with them."
The run will be held at Newcastle Racecourse on Sunday 9th May 2010. There is a five-mile cross-country run and a one-mile event for under sevens. Entry is £10 or £5 for under sevens. For more information go to www.childrenscancerrun.co.uk or email childrenscancerrun@ncl.ac.uk
